Episode 74: Melissa the seeker

Melissa Monte is the host of the exciting new Mind Love Podcast: Modern mindfulness for higher vibes. She’s got all the right characteristics for an inspiring and entertaining show: a great voice, high vibe energy and a hefty combination of life experience and education.

How often do you get to cover topics like cold showers (Wim Hof), chronic gastritis, vegan diet, road tripping across Europe and the United States, intense goal setting and American Ninja Warrior in the same conversation. Not ever, at least until now.

Melissa’s the real deal. She’s done her homework, reading 47 books last year alone, living through some challenging life experiences and using those to step up even stronger. Self-proclaimed ‘least cynical person ever’, she looks at new ideas with enthusiasm and excitement and an eagerness to learn more. It’s like we’re m i n d  t w i n s.

Learning more about a vegan lifestyle seems my path lately since she too is vegan – a trend among recent guests. Her story of how she came to be vegan, the impact it’s had on she and her husband’s health is worth listening to alone. It even sent me into a subsequent research of lectins. I think I’m on to somethingJ

We then meander over to her latest interest and how she’s landed on her true passion with mindLOVE. Interested in podcasting? You’ll want to hear this! And once again, I took an assignment away from this conversation in my own next chapter.

Melissa is an inspirer. It’s impossible to listen to her episode and not want to learn more about something! A true seeker!
